Viktor Yushchenko
Born February 23, 1954 in the village Khoruzhivka Sumy region in a family of teachers. Father - Andriy Yushchenko (1919-1992), veteran, after the war he taught English at a local school. Mother - Barbara T. Yushchenko (1918-2005), professor of physics and mathematics.
Marital status: Married, five children and two grandchildren: sons Andriy and Taras, daughters Vitalina, Sofia and Christina, grandchildren Yarynka and Victor.
Wife - Kateryna Yushchenko.
Higher education. 1975 graduated from the Ternopil Finance and Economics Institute. Ph.D. in economics. PhD thesis on "Development of demand and supply of money in Ukraine. National Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine, academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Economic Cybernetics.
Labour way and socio-political activity
1975 - Assistant Chief Accountant, collective farm "40 years in October.
1975 - 1976 - Served in the Soviet Army (frontier troops, the Soviet-Turkish border near Leninakanu).
1976 - 1985 - Acting economist, chief of the Ulyanovsk Branch of State Bank.
1985 - 1987 - Deputy Head of Ukrainian Republican Office of the State Bank.
1988 - 1990 - Head of Department, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Agro-Industrial Bank.
1990 - 1993 - Deputy, First Deputy Chairman of the Republican Bank "Ukraine".
1993 - 1999 - Chairman of the NBU, NBU.
1999 - 2001 - Prime Minister of Ukraine.
2001 - 2002 - Director of the Ukrainian-Russian Institute of Management and Business. Boris Yeltsin.
